DRUMRIGHT, Oklahoma -

The Drumright Fire Department says that evacuation orders have been lifted for the area. All wildfires were contained Sunday morning, authorities say.

If your home is in the burned area and you are trying to return, drive with extreme caution, warns the Drumright Fire Department.

Wildfires in western Creek County have damaged a number of poles, and the utility company has crews working to make repairs and restore service.

As of 1:30 p.m., OG&E says 1,396 customers are without power. They are still assessing the situation and do not know how many poles have been burned, according to an OG&E representative.

Drumright firefighters are currently out with OG&E working to repair electric lines. Other Drumright fire crews are mopping out hotspots, making sure no embers re-ignite.

They do not have an estimate on the number of structures burned. Drumright responded to a fire call in the neighborhood of Oak Grove, which is about a quarter of a mile south of State Highway 33.

All highways are open except for the following Sunday morning:

  • Highway 33 from 99 to 48 is still closed
  • Westbound 33 to 48 is open but eastbound is not
