Sand Springs Library Stages Emergency Opening For Fire Victims

SAND SPRINGS, Oklahoma -

The Charles Page Library in Sand Springs is conducting an "emergency opening" Sunday to assist with fire relief efforts.

The library, located at 551 East 4th St., will be open until 5 p.m. to offer access to public computers and free Wi-Fi to displaced citizens.

These services can help in reaching out to extended family, friends and most importantly, with filing claims for insurance.

Children's librarians are also on-hand to conduct storytime while parents are occupied with completing forms, etc.

Snacks, water and free books are also available for distribution. Library cards are not required to access services.

The Zarrow, Rudisill, Hardesty, and Martin Regional Libraries are open regular hours Sunday, until 5 p.m., and can also assist in rendering aid.

Operating hours are as follows:

Sunday 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. (emergency opening)

Monday - Thursday 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Friday - Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
