TULSA, Oklahoma -

A 21-year old Collinsville man has been killed after getting hit by a vehicle on U.S. Highway 169 early Monday morning.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says shortly after 2 a.m. James Allman stopped his truck on the northbound shoulder just north of the 56th Street North exit.

He got out and crossed the center median, then lay down in a southbound lane. He was then hit by a possible black SUV.

Allman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers are now trying to find the driver of a black SUV who left the scene.
