OHP: Craig County Man Dies After He Is Hit By Semi

CRAIG COUNTY, Oklahoma -

A Big Cabin man is dead after he was hit by semi on state Highway 82 in Craig County early Tuesday morning.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says James Williams, 25, stepped into the path of the southbound semi.

The impact knocked Williams 158 feet.

Troopers don't know why Williams stepped onto the highway and in front of the semi.  The incident occurred north and west of Ketchum.

The semi truck driver from Missouri was not injured.
