Police: Robbers Use Samurai Sword At East Tulsa Motel

The incident happened at around 11:30 p.m. at the Georgetown Plaza Motel near 31st and Memorial.

Tulsa Police say robbers used a samurai sword to take money from a man at an East Tulsa motel.

The incident happened at about 11:30 p.m. at the Georgetown Plaza Motel near 31st and Memorial.

Police say a man gave a woman a ride home from the River Spirit Casino in West Tulsa and she asked him to get her a motel room.  He did and once inside, the woman made a phone call.

Moments later, several men showed up at the door to rob him.  One of them had a sword.

Tulsa Police say the victim was not hurt.
