An Oklahoma police officer was involved in a collision, not with another car, but with a covered wagon.

Police in Wister, down in Le Flore County, said Keith Woolery rammed a patrol car three times, and then refused to pull over his wagon Saturday night.

But Woolery said it wasn't him—it was the mules.

When asked if he was trying to out-run the police, Woolery said, "No I was trying to stop the mules."

"I don't usually have problems out of them. It's just when they get spooked they do get sideways a little bit," Woolery said.

Police said Woolery was drunk, but they couldn't charge him with DUI since he wasn't driving a motorized vehicle.

He was booked on public intoxication and assault and battery on a police officer.
