Sports Illustrated released its preseason All-American list today, and two Sooners and two Cowboys made the list.

SI named OU center Gabe Ikard and safety Tony Jefferson, along with OSU cornerback Brodrick Brown to the second team.

OSU kicker Quinn Sharp was the only OU or OSU player to be named to the first team.

Ikard was listed behind Alabama center Barrett Jones, who is the reigning Outland Trophy winner, while Jefferson was listed behind LSU safety Eric Reid and USC safety T.J. McDonald.

Brown was listed behind first teamers Tyrann Mathieu of LSU and David Amerson of N.C. State.

Ikard and Jefferson have both changed positions from a season ago in order to help the Sooners in a position of need. Ikard has taken over the center position after incumbent starter Ben Habern ended his football career due to lingering effects from back and neck injuries.

Jefferson has moved back to his natural position of safety after spending his first two seasons as a nickel back/linebacker.
