Washington County authorities seized over $31,000 worth of suspected designer drugs, following raids on two Bartlesville convenience stores this week.

The two stores called For Your Convenience, one on Southwest 14th Street and the other at Nowata and Madison, were raided Tuesday morning.

Sheriff Rick Silver said deputies along with Bartlesville Police officers and the U.S. Drug Enforcement agents found vials of K2 and bath-salts in both stores.

The vials were sent to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation lab in Oklahoma for analysis.

Silver said none of the vials were on display, but believe customers had to ask for them in order to make a purchase.

The sheriff's office arrested Suleman Lalani, a clerk at one of the stores Wednesday. He was booked into the Washington County jail on a complaint of possession of a misbranded drug.

A report from the OSBI lab will be forwarded onto the Washington County district attorney's office for possible prosecution.
