TULSA, Oklahoma -

A Sapulpa man was arrested Friday evening on railroad property in Tulsa. Police say he was so high after smoking synthetic drugs that he mistook their patrol car for his vehicle when he was asked to leave.

Police first encountered David Patrick Woods, 25, as they investigated a complaint of vandalism on railroad property just east of 4000 South 28th West Avenue. Officers first gave Woods a ticket for trespassing and told him to leave the property immediately.

Woods staggered and weaved as he walked away, according to the arrest report.

"Mr. Woods then attempted to enter a patrol car on the driver's side believing it was his car," the arresting officer said.

Woods then walked to a nearby business and got a cigarette and light. The officer said Woods walked back to the railroad yard towards police, appearing to be disoriented.

Police say Woods admitted to smoking "K2" and having a beer just before they talked to him. He kept asking them "Where is my car?" and "How long will I be in jail?" the report states.

Woods also threw the lit cigarette down with no attempt to put it out, the report states.

He was arrested for public intoxication (drugs) and discarding a burning object.
