TULSA, Oklahoma -

The City of Tulsa and Tulsa County are joining forces to take down a neighborhood eyesore.

It's an apartment building near 61st and Peoria that's been abandoned since 2009.

Not only has it been racking up code violations, it's also been a nuisance for police and firefighters, who keep getting called there.

In the video above, photojournalist Chris Howell has more on one man's mission to tear it down.
