One night after a big, come from behind win over Chicago, the Tulsa Shock went to San Antonio and got slapped around by the Silver Stars, 91-71.

The Shock led by two after the first quarter, but was outscored 25-11 in the second quarter. San Antonio went on a 17-0 run to start the quarter and never looked back after that.

The Silver Stars continued to pour it on in the third and fourth quarters, building their lead up to 25 at several points in the final period.

Tulsa was plagued by poor shooting from their starters, who, besides Ivory Latta, shot just 9-22 for the game.

Riquna Williams led the Shock with 17 off the bench, while Latta chipped in 15.

Jia Perkins led San Antonio with 21 points off the bench, while Danielle Adams added 18, also from the bench.

Former OU Sooner Danielle Robinson scored eight points, and added six assists and three steals.

Tulsa was competitive in the first quarter, staying in the lead or within a couple points of the lead throughout the whole quarter. There were eight lead changes in the first quarter alone, but none after San Antonio went on the 17-0 run that blew the game open.
