Downtown Tulsa is getting a new look with $400,000 in landscaping. They'll be adding trees along downtown streets, flowers and irrigation.
The Downtown Coordinating Council says the streetscape project will improve property values, attract people to the area, and even cut down on crime.
"And we think that'll be a great enhancement for downtown, which is starting to boom already," said Tom Wallace, chairman of the Downtown Coordinating Council.
"It's pretty exciting what's happening down here, and we just want to kind of kick start it."
The project will be finished in the fall.
