The annual Sand Springs Downhill Soapbox Derby just keeps getting bigger.

Organizers announced Wednesday that this year's event will include hot air balloons.

It's all set for September 22.

They're hoping to do a balloon glow Friday night, then fly over the downhill soapbox derby, then cap it all off with some great food from the BBQ cook-off.

This will be the first time there's ever been an organized balloon event in Sand Springs.
