TULSA, Oklahoma -

Expect some traffic delays if you drive on I-244 in East Tulsa.  The Oklahoma Department of Transportation has shifted lanes and closed some exit and on ramps between Garnett and Sheridan.

Westbound traffic on I-244 will shift to new pavement and the right lane will be closed.

For eastbound drivers the left lane of eastbound I-244 will be closed between Highway 169 and 129th East Avenue until mid September.

I-244 between Memorial and Mingo will be narrowed to one lane until Thursday afternoon.

ODOT says the westbound I-244 on-ramp from Garnett will be closed through mid-October.

Westbound I-244 off-ramps to north and southbound 169 will be closed through mid-October.  ODOT says Westbound traffic should follow westbound I-44 at the I-244/I-44 split for access to 169.
