Traffic Backed Up On Highway 75 Due To Dump Truck Rollover Crash

Posted: Updated:
TULSA, Oklahoma -

Traffic was backed up Tuesday afternoon on U.S. Highway 75 near Apache, after a dump truck crashed and turned over onto its side.

The crash happened just after 1 p.m. and traffic was still being affected two hours later.

Police said the dump truck was traveling north when an axle mount broke, causing the driver to lose control. The truck turned onto its passenger side and slid off the road, dumping a load of dirt on the road.

TPD said the driver was not injured and no other vehicles were involved.

Police shut down one lane of traffic while the crash was cleaned up and while they investigated the cause of the crash.
