CLAREMORE, Oklahoma -

The Rogers County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday afternoon that a report about the investigation into the alleged dragging death of a Rogers County family's dog was completed.

Investigators initially said it appeared as though the dog's hind legs were tied to a vehicle with steel baling wire and she was dragged behind the car until she died. Details of the report are expected later in the week.

The family said "Jetta" was a black lab, who had recently given birth to nine puppies.

Rewards were offered for information leading to an arrest in the dog's death.

The owner of Wild Heart Ranch, Annette Tucker, put up a $5,000 reward, which was then matched by legendary Oklahoma football coach Barry Switzer.

Sheriff Scott Walton said the investigation was finished and the case was turned over to the Rogers County District Attorney's Office, but said no arrests have been made.

"The way the information come in, and with the cooperation of those parties and the fact that nobody is going anywhere, we don't believe a probable cause arrest would be what any legal prosecution would want us to do at this time," Sheriff Walton said.

The sheriff did not name a person of interest and no charges have been filed.
