A community came together to restock the bookshelves at a Green Country elementary school Monday night.

Through donations, the Oologah school was able to buy nearly $7,000 worth of books.

Parents say it's an impressive haul, and just in time, considering Oologah school libraries were facing big budget cuts.

A local publishing company chipped in half the cost of the books.
