The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 14-year-old boy crashed his mom's car on I-44 Tuesday morning.
OKLAHOMA CITY -
Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say a 14-year-old boy flipped his mom's car on an Oklahoma City interstate early Tuesday morning.
OHP confirms it happened around 1:00 a.m. when the underage driver attempted to take a curve on Interstate 44 between Northwest Expressway and Penn. When the teen lost control of the car, he hit a curb and struck a guardrail.
The vehicle flipped. The teen was hurt, but not seriously. Troopers say a female passenger was ejected from the car during the crash. She suffered only road-rash injuries to her face.
No other vehicles were involved in the rollover accident.
It's not clear if the teen will be facing any charges or citations in this accident.
