World War II B-29 Superfortress To Visit Tulsa Later This Month

TULSA, Oklahoma -

On Thursday September 27, 2012 a Boeing B-29 Superfortress FIFI will land at Tulsa International Airport.

According to a news release from the Tulsa Air and Space Museum, FIFI is the only flying B-29 in the world.

While at TIA, the Boeing B-29 Superfortress, which flew during World War II will be parked at outside the Tulsa Air and Space Museum.

On Friday, September 28th through Sunday, September 30th, visitors will a chance to tour the massive four-engine bomber.

Tulsa Air and Space Museum says other World War II era aircraft from the Commemorative Air Force will also be at Tulsa International Airport throughout the weekend. The list includes a North American P-51 Mustang and a Beech C-45 Expediter.

The museum will offer special hours and admission prices for that weekend.
