A teenager is dead after a stabbing in North Tulsa early Thursday morning.

Tulsa Police say a Good Samaritan found the teenager lying in the middle of the street shortly after 1 a.m. and performed CPR to try td save him.

EMSA took 19-year-old Marcus Brice to a Tulsa hospital where he was pronounced dead, becoming Tulsa's 36th homicide of the year. 

Police say Brice was walking with several other people when they confronted the suspect in the 1200 block of North Sheridan.  A fight ensued and the suspect stabbed Brice multiple times, according to police.

Tulsa Police say a woman driving by spotted Brice, stopped and administered CPR.

Police say the suspect returned to the scene as officers were collecting evidence. 

"A citizen had seen him running down the street, cornered him and talked him into coming back," said Tulsa Police Cpl. Dan Miller.

Police say he also had numerous stab wounds to his arms. He was taken to a hospital and then taken to the police station to be questioned.  No one was arrested.

Tulsa Police say their report will be turned over to the Tulsa County DA to determine if charges will be filed in this case.

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections says Brice was convicted of first degree burglary in 2011 and received a deferred sentence.
