Muskogee Builder Charged With Defrauding Homeowners

OKLAHOMA CITY -

The state attorney general has filed 12 charges against Jason Priest for what he calls a pattern of home repair fraud.

Priest owns JMP Buildings and the Muskogee Barn Company.

AG Scott Pruitt said Priest signed contracts and took payments to build barns or outbuildings in 12 Oklahoma Counties.

He said Priest put up frames for buildings, but never finished the work.

The state believes the victims lost altogether more than $82,000.
