Oklahoma State's AD Franch is one of 30 candidates for the 2012 Lowe's Senior CLASS Award for women's soccer.

An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School, the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their platform in athletics to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: classroom, character, community and competition.

A native of Salina, Kan., Franch has been a strong performer in the classroom and helped the OSU program earn NSCAA Team Academic Awards in each of the last three years. A studio art major, she was an Academic All-Big 12 Second Team selection in 2011 and has twice been named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll. She has also appeared on the OSU Dean's Honor Roll.
