TULSA, Oklahoma -

After giving away close to $200,000 at the Oklahoma State Fair earlier this month in Oklahoma City, State Treasurer Ken Miller is looking at Tulsa State Fair to give away more money.

Ken Miller handles the state's Unclaimed Property Fund, which has $350 million for 600,000 Oklahomans.

"If you plan to attend the Tulsa State Fair, you should come to our booth," Ken Miller said. "We have the names of more than half a million people who don't realize they've lost money. You could be one of those people."

Miller says his staff will be in the QuikTrip Center at the Tulsa State Fair with laptop computers so they can lookup names for fair goers on the Unclaimed Property list.

Unclaimed property includes bank accounts, security deposits, old paychecks, overpayments, royalties, rebates, stock and bonds. Safe deposit box contents are also included.

Miller says the money and property are brought to the treasurer's office when the businesses holding them lose track of the owners.

Miller's office publishes the names in state newspapers, operates an online searchable database at www.ok.gov/unclaimed/index.php.
