Tulsa Burger King Robber Runs Away When Told There Is No Money

TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa Police are looking for a man who attempted to rob a Burger King restaurant at gunpoint early Tuesday but ran away when employees told him they had no money.

The robbery attempt happened just before 6:30 a.m. at 21st and Sheridan. 

Police say the white male wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and bandana over his face showed a handgun to a store employee in the drive up window.

The man ran to a full sized 2-door pickup truck and drove away.

No shots were fired and no one was injured.
