Construction Crews Celebrate Milestone At One Place Tower

Construction on the new One Place Tower has reached a milestone.

Crews celebrated its topping out this afternoon as they hoisted an evergreen tree attached to a beam to the 18th story.

A tree is a long-time construction tradition that's supposed to bring good luck.

One Place Tower will have six-and-a-half levels of parking, one level of retail and 11 stories of office space, across from the BOK Center or Denver Avenue downtown.

Northwestern Mutual Financial has already moved in to a ground-floor spot.

Cimarex Energy will move in next year.
