Arson Blamed For Two Building Fires In Turley

Investigators say two fires in Turley, one Thursday evening and one Friday morning, appear to have been started by an arsonist.

Investigators say two fires in Turley, one Thursday evening and one Friday morning, appear to have been started by an arsonist.

Firefighters from Turley and Tulsa were dispatched to a the first fire in a vacant house in the 6100 block of North Frankfort Place Thursday evening.

A couple of hours later, both departments fought a fire in an empty building in the 6100 block of North Peoria.

Both fires were extinguished quickly.

Shortly after 6 a.m. Friday, Tulsa Fire and Turley Fire were again sent out to both locations after  someone started the structures on fire again.

Fire officials believe both fires are related. No one was injured in either fire.
