MAYES COUNTY, Oklahoma -

A 36-year-old man was killed when another man failed to yield onto U.S. Highway 412 from a Mayes County road, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

James Butler, of Wagoner, was pronounced dead on the scene after being pinned in his 2002 Hyundai Elantra for an hour.

Jacob Lane Martin, 18, of Chouteau, was transported to a Tulsa hospital, treated and released.

Martin's 2001 Dodge 2500 struck Butler's car after failing to yield onto U.S. 412, the collision report said.

Butler's car came to rest on its top.
