A man was stabbed in the chest Sunday night after a gang of masked men he identified as "Juggalos" attacked him, Tulsa police said.

"Juggalos" is a name given to fans of Insane Clown Posse or any other Psychopathic Records hip hop group. They often dress in "clown" makeup or masks and have their own slang.

The victim told police he was near an abandoned building in downtown Tulsa just before 9 p.m., when he was approached by the group of men who accused him of raping their female friend.

After he was stabbed, he ran to the Greyhound station, located about two blocks to the west at Third Street and Detroit Avenue, and called police.

The attackers ran away and have not been arrested.

He was transported to a local hospital. There is was no word on his condition Sunday evening.

"Juggalos" have been identified by the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a gang, although the group and ICP members dispute that classification.
