More Construction Lane Closures On I-44 In Tulsa At Lewis

There are more changes on the way for drivers on I-44 at Lewis in Tulsa. The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says more closures are coming to the interchange Wednesday.

Lewis Avenue over I-44 was closed in both directions earlier this week and will remain closed until the end of January 2013.

Starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, ODOT crews will close the westbound on-ramp to I-44 from Lewis. If you need to head west on I-44 you can still access the westbound lanes at Harvard and Peoria.

In addition, ODOT says it is shifting westbound lanes of I-44 at Lewis between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. each day because of construction work. That will be happening each day through Friday.
