Editor's note: We're about to move into a new building, so we're taking inventory of everything in our current one. We've found all kinds of interesting old stories and we're sharing the best of them here.

This week's trip into the KOTV video vault takes us back to a time when a Walkman gave us music on the go, when movies at home meant popping a tape in the VCR, and when mobile phones in your car could take up to a year to get.

It was the ‘80s, and although that really wasn't that long ago, as Rick Wells shows us, in the world of technology, it seems like ancient history.
