Tulsa Man Charged With First Degree Murder For Stabbing Of Mother

TULSA, Oklahoma -

The man arrested for the stabbing death of his mother was charged Monday with first degree murder.

William Matthew Stick, 20, was also charged in a Tulsa County district court with assault and battery upon a police officer.

He was arrested on October 5, after his mother, Veronica Stick, was found lying in front of the porch of her Tulsa home, with a stab wound to the chest.

Stick remains in a Tulsa County jail. He is being held without bond.
