The eastbound lanes of I-244 on the southwest corner of the Inner Dispersal Loop around downtown are still closed this evening while highway workers figure out a way to fix the bridge over third street.

A container truck hit the bridge about lunchtime on Monday, raising a section of the bridge up several inches.

ODOT hasn't said yet when the road might reopen. They indicated that it probably wouldn't reopen by the end of the day.
