OKLAHOMA CITY -

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations just released its annual report on crime statewide for 2011.

The report is 169 pages long. It compiles crime data from more than 300 Oklahoma sheriff offices, police departments and law enforcement agencies.

According to the 2011 Crime Clock, a crime occurs somewhere in Oklahoma every 3.3 seconds. A non-violent crime occurs almost every four minutes. And a violent crime happens almost every half hour.

According to the OSBI data, a murder happens almost every two days, a rape every six and a half hours, a robbery every two hours and 40 minutes and an aggravated assault happens almost every 40 minutes.

Somewhere in Oklahoma, a car is stolen every 47 minutes or so, and a burglary almost every 14 minutes.

The OSBI crime report also has a breakdown of who is most likely to end up a victim of murder or arrested for murder.

I'll have more on that coming up tonight at 5.
