A man who fled from police and ran into an officer's vehicle was arrested about 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said they spotted Joshua Daniel Blaylock, 34, of Tulsa, walking near King Street and Sheridan Road and carrying a tool box.

When officers tried to talk to Blaylock, he ran away.

With a K-9 on his trail, Blaylock ran into the left front fender of a police vehicle, leaving a large dent, police said.

EMSA was called to the scene and an officer said Blaylock would go to the hospital for a stitch over his eye.

He was arrested on four misdemeanor traffic warrants and new complaints of public intoxication, burglary of tools, jaywalking and resisting arrest.
