Thunder Waive Walker Russell

The Oklahoma City Thunder has waived guard Walker Russell.

He appeared in one preseason game and recorded five points and one assist in six minutes of action for the Thunder. Russell joined the team at the beginning of October, coming from the Detroit Pistons. He spent five seasons in the NBA D-League after graduating from Jacksonville State.

The Thunder roster is now at 18.
