TULSA, Oklahoma -

A west side Tulsa church stepped up to help the community after a disaster.

Greater Cornerstone Baptist Church wants to use its new community center in the 5000 block of South 41st West Avenue as a Red Cross emergency shelter.

Tuesday, the Red Cross toured the center, evaluating it for things like sleeping capacity, sanitation, and accessibility.
