TULSA, Oklahoma -

A woman was killed crossing Yale Avenue in Tulsa Saturday evening. The incident happened just after 8 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Yale at 33rd Street.

Tulsa Police say the unidentified woman was wearing dark clothing and not using a crosswalk when she was struck by a southbound car.

EMSA took the woman to a Tulsa hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her identity has not been released.

Police don't expect the driver of the car to face any charges.
