According to the search warrant, police were called out to a mobile home on South Vista Lane in reference to a drug overdose.
EDMOND, Oklahoma -
Police are
looking for a man they say threatened to blow up power poles and power boxes near
a popular Edmond park.
A police
report and search warrant reveal police found large amounts of explosive
chemicals inside the mobile home in which he was living. Now Edmond police have
handed over their investigation to the DA's office, and are waiting for them to
formally charge
Police are on the lookout for 24-year-old Charles
Jayden of Edmond. According to the search warrant, police
were called out to a mobile home on South Vista Lane in reference to a drug overdose.
When they
searched the home, they found bags of potassium nitrate, sodium nitrate, aluminum
powder, red iron oxide, and calcium carbonate limestone. All the chemicals can
be used for making explosives and are considered very dangerous if not handled
properly.
Columbus
and his roommates have been evicted from the mobile home park. Columbus is
currently facing charges for grand larceny. It will be up to the DA's office
whether to charge him with 3rd-degree arson or anything else.
