MANNFORD, Oklahoma -

The police chief in Mannford says a man discovered dead in his apartment late Thursday night apparently died from natural causes.

The unidentified man's body was discovered in an apartment at the Salt Creek Apartment complex on Hinton Boulevard just before 11 p.m.

Mannford Police Chief Lucky Miller initially told News On 6, the man's death was a homicide, but now says they do not suspect foul play in the man's death.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation was called in to assist Mannford Police.

The man, who is in his late 40's or early 50's, has not been identified.
