More Oklahoma Volunteers Headed To East Coast

OKLAHOMA CITY -

More Oklahomans are headed to the East Coast to help with recovery efforts from Super storm Sandy.

The Red Cross has a total of 14 Red Cross volunteers from Oklahoma on the East Coast. Several of the those volunteers left from the Tulsa area on Thursday.

Oklahoma City-based Feed The Children has sent two tractor trailer rigs of relief supplies to New Jersey. Those trucks are expected to arrive Sunday.

And an estimated 100 volunteers from the Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief team including several from Tulsa left Friday morning headed for Middleton, New York to help in the cleanup of the storm.
