Walgreens Wellness Bus Tour Stops In Oklahoma This Week

Walgreens began touring Tulsa Monday, giving out free health screenings to the public.

They will be taking their "Wellness Bus," to five different Walgreens locations over the next four days.

People can get their blood pressure, glucose levels, and cholesterol levels checked, while also getting a seven-in-one full body analysis.

The four-day event is part of the Walgreens "Way to Wellness Health Tour with AARP," and comes just in time for flu season.

"This is a great service here in the Tulsa area, and … it's absolutely free for anyone 18 years of age or older," said Wellness Tour staff member Veronica Marmolejo. "For anyone who is self-identified as uninsured, we will also provide you with a free flu-shot voucher, which you can redeem at your nearest Walgreens location."
