Most polls in Tulsa County closed at 7 p.m., but we've learned that others remained open an hour later due to the long lines of voters, according to Tulsa County Election Board Official Shelly Boggs.

The Election Board estimates about a quarter-million votes were cast in Tulsa County. That puts voter turnout between 62 and 68 percent.

Some voters say they waited at least an hour to cast their ballots, and at many polling sites, lines stretched out the door.

News On 6 received reports that seven precincts reported problems with machines jamming.  In addition, at least one precinct reported that they took the vote-counting machine to the election board for help.

The large number of absentee ballots are also said to be a factor in the delayed reporting.

We also learned the Tulsa County election board had to replace five machines that broke down.
