TULSA, Oklahoma -

A car hit a deer that was crossing Highway 169 at 46th Street North Wednesday night.

The crash happened in the northbound lanes of 169 at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Tulsa Police say the deer ran out in front of the car and driver could not avoid it.  The driver was not injured.

No word on the condition of the deer.
