A Southeast High School teacher posted an angry rant on his Facebook Page after voters passed limits on the use of affirmative action. He has since apologized for calling Oklahomans racists and wishing a tornado would wipe us out. Here's what you had to say about it.
First one of his former students, Roneshia: "This man is nowhere near racist. You act like he was in a classroom. It's the internet."
Melissa asks: "What kind of hot head is he to put something like that on his Facebook for his students to see?"
Jalisa, another former student: "Coach Lowe voiced his opinion like everyone else and all of a sudden it's a problem, FREEDOM OF SPEECH now and forever."
William writes: "He Might Have "Freedom Of Speech" But Not HATE SPEECH! That Was Going Too Far!!"
Cheryle says: "I don't blame him, you all act as if he threatened the nation. He just told the truth about Oklahomans."
From Holly: "The teacher better thank his lucky stars Steve Shaw interviewed him off camera & then took the time on camera to let News 9 viewers know that he actually believed the humility from the teacher."
Tracy says: "Coach Lowe wasn't only my teacher, he was a mentor to me and many students."
Finally from Chris: "With so much hate and rage plus wishing for harm to come to others, I would question whether or not he should be in a classroom with children."
