Del City Man Charged With Murder In Deadly Shooting

A Del City man is charged with first degree murder.

It all stems from a shooting back in October when police arrested 38-year-old Phillip Antonio Davis in the death of another man.

According to police, Davis was spending the night with a woman at an apartment complex located at 3447 S.E. 44th Street in Del City, when he told police he heard what sounded like glass breaking. Davis then allegedly brought his 12-gauge to the window and fired one round, hitting and killing Keaunce Mustin.

Neighbors say the woman and the murder victim were romantically involved.

Davis has a lengthy criminal history. He has served time on various drug and burglary charges in several Oklahoma counties. He's also charged with possession of a firearm after a felony conviction in this case.
