Southwest Airlines announced Monday it will begin nonstop service between Tulsa and Chicago's Midway Airport next year.
The airline does have flights between the two cities, but passengers must stop at another designation before going on to either Tulsa International or Chicago's Midway.
Southwest joins American and United with nonstop service to and from Chicago.
Nonstop service between Tulsa and Chicago's Midway begins on June 2, 2013.
