Police: Man Apologizes To Clerk For Robbing Tulsa Gas Station

Police are looking for a man who robbed the Phillips 66 station near 31st and Yale in Tulsa early Wednesday morning.

Police are looking for a man who robbed the Phillips 66 station near 31st and Yale in Tulsa early Wednesday morning.

Tulsa Police got the call at 3:30 a.m. They say the man entered the station and demanded cash from the clerk then apologized, saying he needed it for his family.

After getting the cash, the man left in an older model pickup truck.

The clerk was not injured.

The robber is described as a white man wearing gloves and camouflage clothing with a dark hoodie pulled over his face. He was armed with a shiny pistol, possibly a 9-millimeter.
