Woman Shot During Argument In North Tulsa

TULSA, Oklahoma -

A woman was taken to a Tulsa hospital after she was shot while sitting in a car in North Tulsa late Monday evening.

The incident happened in the 2200 block of North Xanthus.

Tulsa Police say the woman got into an argument with a second woman who was standing in the road near the car. 

As the car drove off, the second woman started shooting with a handgun. One shot hit the first woman in the lower back, other shots shattered one of the car's windows.

The driver took the victim to the hospital. There is no word on her condition, but police expect her to survive.

Tulsa Police are still looking for the shooter.
