Broken Arrow Man Wins Nationwide Photography Contest, Inspires Short Film

BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -

A Broken Arrow man's photograph has won a nationwide contest.

It's called "Gone Fishin'."

Richard Waters submitted this photo as part of the Canon Project Imagination contest.

Academy award winning director Ron Howard, along with five other celebrity directors, selected photographs to help inspire their different short films.

Production begins soon and the films will debut at a film festival next year.
