Edmond Police Release Picture Of Homicide Victim, Seek Public's Help

Police say the body of a Hispanic man was found on I-35, between Danforth and Covell in Edmond Saturday, December 1.

The Edmond Police Department is seeking help from the public in a homicide investigation.

Police say the body of a Hispanic man was found on I-35, between Danforth and Covell in Edmond Saturday, December 1.

Detectives believe the man was possibly working for a roofing company in the Oklahoma City area. The victim had a very unique upper dental plate in his mouth, including a gold star and gold trim.

Police say the victim was 5'03" and weighed approximately 135 lbs. They believe he was using one of the following names: Leopoldo Mejia, Jose Mejia-Serrano, 35, or Jose Ramirez, 50.
